Course Outline
To give the participants the knowledge and skills to understand their personal safety and how to manage difficult/challenging situations whilst carrying out their job role.
Aims of the Course
The course equips Staff with the skills and knowledge to maintain their professionalism when managing a situation they may find difficult, uncomfortable or challenging.
The course includes focusing on Self-Awareness; “how do I react when I’m in a situation I feel uncomfortable or challenging?”
- To be aware of personal safety and keeping safe.
- To identify potentially dangerous situations.
- To have the skills to manage the situation in a safe and professional way.
- To be self-aware of how we react when put into a situation we find difficult/challenging
