Course Outline
This half-day training course explores this common condition, its prevalence and the methods of management. This face-to-face CPD Training Course is both theoretical and practical in nature, allowing learners to explore in-depth the causes of diabetes, the different types and effects of diabetes, and current treatments available.

- How does diabetes affect a person?
- Statistics and prevalence
- Causes of diabetes
- Prevention of diabetes
- Glucose and insulin
- Diabetes types
- HBA1C and blood sugar
- Diabetes treatments and types
- Hypo and Hyperglycaemia
- Insulin administration
- Effective care and support
Aims of the Course
You will be equipped with all the relevant knowledge and an understanding of Diabetes, how to be aware of the symptoms, side effects and also how to treat the various types of diabetes.
