Course Outline

To make delegates aware of Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and its implications for those who have it. Similarly so for people with Dyslexia. Through participatory learning, for delegates to better appreciate how people with ADD and Dyslexia manage their worlds and relate to people and conditions around them.

Aims of the Course

The course will cover the following:

  • What is ADD and how does it differ from ADHD?
  • What are the 7 types of ADD?
  • What treatments are there for these various types?
  • What is Dyslexia?
  • What effect can it have on the individual and others?
