New business units and additional office space has been developed on the Parc Bryn Cefni Enterprise Zone in Llangefni. The development of five new units on the former Môn Training site has provided over 1,200m² of office, light industrial and storage space for businesses.

In addition, over 700m2 of office and meeting space has been developed at the Anglesey Business Centre, with new tenants now occupying the building.

The project was part of Isle of Anglesey County Council efforts to support business development and job creation on the island.

All units are now occupied by local businesses.

Phil Chadwick of Anglesey Brewhouse said: “Unit 12 at Pen yr Orsedd has provided us with the perfect environment to produce our quality craft beer. Its location, close to the centre of Llangefni and on a main road making us clearly visible is a big plus. Whist it took us a while to build and commission the new brewery we believe it has given us the best possible start in growing our business and producing craft beer on a commercial scale.”

Anglesey’s Economic Development officers successfully applied for over £4m from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the Welsh Government to undertake this project.
