Forget the European Championships, the Anglesey primary schools’ football finals were held on the 3G pitch at Plas Arthur Leisure Centre this week.
The results of the three contested finals were:
- Albert Owen Shield:
Ysgol Llanfairpwll 1-0 Ysgol y Borth
- Rhun Ap Iorwerth Shield
Ysgol Morswyn 2-0 Ysgol Goronwy Owen
- Ysgol Ieuan Wyn Jones Shield
Ysgol Henblas 2-2 Ysgol Y Ffridd (Ysgol Henblas win 9-8 on penalties)
A huge congratulations to all the players and schools for a great day of football. Every single player played brilliantly, making their schools proud in the process.
