Teulu Mȏn is a free and inclusive service providing information, advice and support to families in Anglesey. This includes families who have been affected by imprisonment.
We recognise that when a member of the family is imprisoned this could have a significant effect on the family’s life.
We hope that we can provide information, advice or assistance that can support the whole family through this difficult time.
We have a designated officer who can assist families affected by imprisonment. Support from the officer may include; information, advice and assistance in relation to:
- money - loss of income and having to pay for prison visits

- education - support and liaising with education on truancy and explaining how the effect of imprisonment has impacted on the child’s education
- safety - support for children who have to deal with stigma, bullying and teasing. We recognise that this can be difficult for you as the parent / caregiver
If you feel that your family can benefit from this source of information, advice and support, then ask to speak to the FABI Officer (Families Affected by Imprisonment) by contacting Teulu Môn.
