Information on school term and holiday dates for primary, secondary and special schools on Anglesey.

Schools which close so that elections can be held, will open for the equivalent number of days at the end of the summer term.

The school’s attendance and punctuality policy will have information on taking pupils out of school during term time.

Teacher training days ('inset days')

There are 5 inset days to be arranged by the school during the year.

Schools that close for elections

Schools that close when there are elections will open for the same number of days at the end of the summer term.

Childcare during school holidays

Childcare clubs are available in the following areas during the school holidays:

The childcare clubs are open to children 3 to 11 years old and are registered with CSSIW.
