Flying Start can provide high quality funded childcare during the school term for 2½ hours a day, 5 days a week for 39 weeks a year.

It is available from the school term after a child’s second birthday, until the school term after their third birthday at a setting registered to deliver Flying Start childcare in your catchment area.

Eligibility

The childcare part of the Welsh Government’s funded Flying Start programme is expanding using a phased approach. This means that not all addresses on Anglesey are currently eligible.
