Isle of Anglesey County Council

Delivery agreement

A number of statutory steps are required to be followed as part of the preparation and adoption of the Local Development Plan.

The first step in the process is to prepare a Delivery Agreement. The delivery agreement is split into two parts which involve:

  • a timeline of the key steps for the preparation of the new LDP; and
  • a community involvement scheme that sets out how and when stakeholders and the community can contribute to the plan preparation process.

A public consultation in relation to the draft delivery agreement along with the impact assessment on equality, Welsh language, and economic disadvantage was held for a period of 6 weeks between 23 May 2024 and 4 July 2024.

The final delivery agreement and the Impact assessment on equality, Welsh language and economic disadvantage were approved by the Isle of Anglesey County Council on 26 September 2024. The Welsh Government's agreement to the Delivery Agreement was received on the 18 October 2024.

Copies of all the above documents are available to view on this webpage  along with paper copies available to view at the Isle of Anglesey County Council's main offices.
