Gypsy and Traveller Accommodation Assessment

In May 2021 Arc4 were commissioned to assist Gwynedd and Anglesey Councils to prepare a Gypsy and Travellers Accommodation Needs Assessment.

The assessment results have been published in the Anglesey and Gwynedd Gypsy and Traveller Accommodation Needs Assessment 2022 (GTAA).

The 2022 GTAA has identified the following needs for Anglesey:

  • Two transit sites to be used as temporary stopping places for Gypsies and Travellers along the A55, one being central and one being in Holyhead.

The needs of Gypsy and Travellers Accommodation can change during the assessment cycle, with information collated within Welsh Government Gypsy and Traveller caravan count.
