Community Flood Action Groups on Anglesey

What is a Flood Action Group

A Flood Action Group (FAG) is a voluntary group of local residents who work together to help reduce the impact of flooding within their community. Members meet regularly and act on behalf of their wider area to improve preparedness, resilience and communication during flood events.

On Anglesey, these groups play an important role in supporting communities that have experienced flooding in the past, as well as those that may be at risk in the future. Each group sets its own aims, objectives, roles and responsibilities based on local needs.
