This consultation ended 3 November 2023

Original consultation

Purpose

The purpose of this consultation is to seek your views on the proposed Holyhead and Trearddur Bay active travel scheme.

Background

The proposed scheme will aim to provide an active travel link, as part of the North Wales Metro between Holyhead and the square in Trearddur Bay.

The proposed plans for the first phase run from Holyhead Retail Park (Tesco roundabout) connecting to Trearddur Bay. In addition, there will be further links to key facilities along the route, including Holyhead Leisure Centre, Parc Cybi, and Trearddur Bay Square.

The proposed scheme would make the area easier, safer, and more convenient to get around by foot, or by bike.
