Isle of Anglesey County Council is developing a new extra care and residential care home at Tyddyn Mostyn, Menai Bridge.
This will meet the growing demand as Anglesey’s population ages, with the number of people over 85 expected to rise by around 70% over the next decade.
A key benefit of the scheme is the provision of specialist dementia‑friendly residential care for the south of the island.
As part of the development a new drain will need to be constructed to remove surface water from the site.
This means a temporary road closure will be required at Hill Street, Mount Street and Druid Road in Menai Bridge.
