North Wales Regional Transport Plan consultation


A 12-week public consultation has been launched, giving residents, businesses and visitors the chance to shape the future of travel in the region. 

This consultation is being carried out by Ambition North Wales, not Isle of Anglesey County Council.

Have your say

Ambition North Wales is inviting feedback on the draft Regional Transport Plan for North Wales.

Ambition North Wales also serves as the region’s Corporate Joint Committee, with responsibility for:

  • regional transport planning
  • strategic land use planning
  • enhancing economic wellbeing

Isle of Anglesey County Council is not responsible for:

  • the accessibility of the online survey
  • the functionality of the language choices within the survey

Closing date

The consulation closes on 14 April 2025.

Paper copies

Hard copies of the documents will be available in libraries on the island.

Call-in sessions

Two call-in sessions are planned during the consultation period. These will be held at: 

  • Holyhead Library on 11 February from 3pm until 6pm
  • Llangefni Library 13 February from 3pm until 6pm 

Getting local opinion on the consultation is important, so we kindly ask you to encourage as many responses as possible.
