Fforwm Iaith Ynys Môn (Anglesey Welsh language forum)

What the forum is

Fforwm Iaith Ynys Môn (Anglesey Welsh Language Forum) is a group of organisations working together to promote and protect the Welsh language on Anglesey. It was set up in 2014 by Anglesey County Council in partnership with Menter Môn.

What the forum does

It brings together education, health, culture, emergency service and community organisations to share ideas, plan projects, and work on initiatives to strengthen the Welsh language locally.

One of the forum's initiatives is the OgiOgi app which has been developed to support busy parents. It includes information on local services and activities, and advice on how to introduce Welsh to young children.
