Due to the fantastic response received for the gardening packs for Isle of Anglesey County Council tenants, the application process is now closed.
Isle of Anglesey County Councils’ Tenants Participation Team are offering gardening packs for housing tenants.
Under normal circumstances, each housing estate can apply for funding to improve the environmental aspect of their estates. In the past and through this scheme, funding has been approved for allotments, communal benches, community clean up days and much more.
Given the situation with Covid-19, all estate wide environmental fund applications have been put on hold until 2021.
The estate wide funding has been re-allocated in order to provide individual household funding in order to maintain the wellbeing of our tenants during this very difficult time.
In order to obtain a pack, tenants must complete an application form, where you may choose whether to receive an indoor or outdoor gardening pack.
The application form which will be available from 9am on Monday 29th June and the closing date of 10th July. There is a limited space of available packs, therefore applications will be distributed on a first come first served basis. Once applications are up to the quota, the opportunity to apply will close.
If you know someone who is an IOACC council tenant, but has no internet access, you can apply on their behalf.
The packs will include the following:
Indoor Pack: Grow your own herb pack or small succulent plants. These will be delivered directly to you by post from Amazon.
Outdoor Pack: A selection of flowers and different items to brighten up your garden and to keep your green fingers busy.
Applications in half or not completed correctly will not be considered.
